# Glossary

> The words SIGNL uses for its records, pages and money, each defined from the place in the product it comes from.

Updated 2 October 2026.

## Your account

### Organisation

Your team belongs to one organisation, and each member works across all of it or is pinned to one client workspace.

### Client and workspace

A client is a business you run SIGNL for, and each client has its own workspace.

### Agency View and Coach View

An agency sees Agency View across its clients and can open any client's Coach View; a solo coach sees only Coach View.

### Login As

Login As, on the agency's Clients page, opens a client's workspace.
Every entry is written to the organisation's audit log before the workspace opens.

## Leads

### Lead

A lead is a visitor SIGNL has identified by name, email or phone number.
A form submission and a webinar registration both go through the same identity step, so they land on one lead record.

### Journey

The Journey tab on a lead lists the events that lead has taken, such as page views, form submissions and booked calls.

### Intent score

Each event a lead takes carries a number of points, and their intent score adds them up.
A lead who has been inactive for more than 30 days loses one point for each extra day, and the score never drops below zero.
The Hot lead alert in a workspace's settings notifies you when a lead's intent score reaches the number you set, and 80 (where the Hot badge starts) is used until you set one.

### Tracked link

A tracked link is a short link on the /r/ path that counts the click and sends the visitor on to your page.

## Selling

### Pipeline and deal

A pipeline is the board of deals on the CRM page, with a column for each stage.
A deal is a sale in progress, with a value, a pipeline and a stage.
Each new client is created with a starting pipeline.

### Offer

An offer is something a client sells, and calls, deals and payments link to it.

### Cadence

A cadence is a sequence of email, text and wait steps, built on the Cadences page.

### Talent

Talent are the people who sell for a client, each a closer, a setter or a sales manager.
The agency's Talent Roster page lists them.

## Booking

### Booking page

A booking page is the public page where a lead picks a time, and it lives at your workspace handle followed by its own link, like /acme-coaching/discovery-call.
You build booking pages on the Events page.
A page has a single host, rotates bookings round-robin across a team, or needs every host free at once (collective).

### Schedule

A schedule is a set of reusable hours that you attach to a booking page.

### Event template

An event template is a booking page an agency defines once, then pushes to its clients as draft pages.

## Automations and the Agent

### Automation

An automation is a flow built from triggers and actions.

### Approval card

When the Agent wants to change something, it shows you an approval card, and the change only happens if you approve it.
A change nobody approves expires after 24 hours.

## Money

### Ledger and match inbox

The ledger on the Payments page holds charges, fees, refunds and disputes from Stripe, Whop, Commas and Ablefy in one list.
The match inbox suggests which buyer a charge belongs to, and you confirm or decline each suggestion.

### Payment plan

A payment plan is an instalment schedule you track by hand, with each instalment marked paid as it comes in.

### Commission rule

A commission rule sets what a rep earns: a percentage, a flat amount or a tiered amount.

### Package

A package is what an agency sells a client: a retainer, a setup fee plus revenue share, or a hybrid of the two.

### Statement

A statement is what one client owes the agency for a month, drafted from the client's package.
It records what is owed and what has been paid, and SIGNL does not collect the payment for you.
