What syncs
What it covers
4- Sign in with Zoom, or your own Server-to-Server app
- Transcripts from Zoom recording links
- Daily import of new links
- Never overwrites a pasted transcript
What it does not do
- SIGNL never changes anything in Zoom. It reads a transcript only when a call's recording link is a Zoom cloud recording.
Set it up
Connect in SIGNL
- Connect with Zoom, using the Zoom account that records your calls to the cloud. Or have a Zoom admin create a Server-to-Server OAuth app in the Zoom App Marketplace with the scopes user:read:list_users:admin, cloud_recording:read:list_user_recordings:admin, cloud_recording:read:list_recording_files:admin and cloud_recording:read:meeting_transcript:admin, activate it, and save its Account ID, Client ID and Client Secret here. The app reads every user in the account.
- In Zoom, under Settings, Recording, turn on cloud recording and "Create audio transcript", so recordings carry a transcript.
- Connected and proven: SIGNL has read your Zoom recordings successfully.
