Earlier changes

October 2026

  1. YouTube sync reads view counts and video lengths, and says when it cannot

A channel sync stored each video but left its view count, length and visibility empty, with no message. Those three now ask YouTube for the current version of the details call. If they still cannot be read, the YouTube Videos panel says so and why. Lengths are what the Shorts filter uses, so Shorts stay hidden only once they have been read.

  2. A lead is someone who gave you an email or a phone

Leads now means people SIGNL holds an email or a phone number for. Anonymous visitors no longer appear on the Leads list or in its counts, filters and export, and they are no longer counted in New leads, Hot leads, the dashboard's lead flow and recent leads, Leads in dashboard fields and Interfaces, the Leads column on Ads, the agency portfolio's New leads, the client portal, the morning brief, the weekly review, hot-lead alerts, the Zapier New lead trigger or list_leads in MCP and the API. The lead counts on Settings → Tags and in the MCP list_tags tool now count leads only too. Your lead numbers will drop by the share of visitors who never gave their details; nothing was deleted. Every visitor, anonymous or captured, is on Tracking → Visitors, Total visitors still counts everyone, and an old link to an anonymous visitor's lead page still opens. Automations are unchanged: Score threshold and every other trigger still run for every visitor as before; only the hot-lead alert to you now waits for an email or a phone.

  3. See which campaigns can be matched to leads, calls and cash

The campaigns table on the Ads page now says how each column is matched: spend and delivery come from the ad platform, and leads, calls and cash are matched on the campaign's utm_campaign tag. A campaign without a tag shows a dash with the reason instead of a zero, and no return on ad spend, so an unmatched campaign no longer looks like one that earned nothing.

  4. Brief a client's setup before they log in

Agencies can tell the setup chat what they already know about a client, keep some parts for themselves, add their own event templates or switch setup off, per client or as a package default. The client skips the questions you answered, and you see each client's setup status on your dashboard.

  5. An AI setter that answers leads who text in

Turn on the AI setter in Settings and give it your instructions: who qualifies, who does not, your approved answers to objections, real results and words it must never use. When a lead texts in, it drafts the next reply and, when they are ready, adds your booking link. You approve, edit or skip each draft in Conversations, or let it send on its own, straight away or after a number of replies you approved without an edit. It hands anything it cannot answer to a person with a task, pauses itself for that lead and lists the question for you to answer. Consent, quiet hours and STOP always apply. SMS only for now.

  6. Set up your workspace by answering a few questions

A new workspace opens with a short setup chat: what you sell, how buyers reach you, who sells, the tools you use and where you want alerts. It proposes the pipeline, forms, booking pages and automations that fit, with connect buttons for your tools, and builds everything you tick as drafts in one click. Nothing goes live or messages anyone until you switch it on, and Undo removes anything you have not changed or used.

  7. Pick each form and booking answer on its own in automations

When an automation starts from a form submission or a booking made on your own booking page, the data picker now lists each question by the name you gave it, such as Budget or Team size, instead of one block called Answers. The whole set of answers is still there as an advanced choice. Only questions on the live, published form are offered, a question the sample record left blank says so, and the step preview names the answer that came back empty instead of showing a code. Data you have already mapped is shown under the field in words, and an answer whose question you later deleted is flagged rather than quietly pointed at another one. Data picked from the example rows before any run, which used to come out blank in a real run and in the step preview, now fills in. Forms or booking pages that share a name are told apart in the pickers, booking answers and the booking page name now reach the automation when a call is booked, and steps that cannot retry no longer show retry settings.

  8. Publish an automation, then switch it on without leaving the editor

After you publish, the button now reads Published and an Activate button appears in the editor header. Activating tells you about any step that will be skipped on every run, the same notice the automations list shows.

  9. A clearer date and time step on your booking pages

Invitees now choose a date, then a time, then confirm, in that order on a phone and beside each other on a larger screen. Dates, month arrows, times and the time zone picker are all at least 44 pixels tall, the time zone every time is shown in is stated in words, and loading, no-times, failed-load and time-just-taken messages each say what happened. The form-embedded booking step looks and behaves the same, and reloads the times if the one a lead picked was taken. Your brand colour, routing and answers are unchanged.

  10. Preview every screen of a booking page exactly as leads see it

The preview beside the event editor is now the real booking page, updating as you edit. Switch between the details, questions, calendar, times, confirmation and each ending, on a phone or a desktop, without filling anything in or booking a call.

  11. Clicks, rage clicks and form fields on the visitor journey

The SIGNL pixel can now record what a visitor does on a page, not just that they were there. A click on a link or button shows in the journey as Clicked and the words on it, such as Clicked “Send me the free training”. Three or more fast clicks in the same spot show as a rage click, and appear in the visitor's Signals, which usually means something looks clickable and is not. When a visitor starts typing in a form field it shows as Started field, Email, and Filled field, Email when they leave it with something in it. Only the field's name or label is recorded; what they typed is never read, stored or sent, and passwords, hidden fields, card and payment fields, verification codes and anything marked data-sensitive or data-signl-sensitive are skipped. A link's address is cut to its path, email and phone links send no address, and a page records at most 20 clicks. All of it waits for consent where your install asks for it. SIGNL's own forms, booking pages, webinar pages and VSL pages have it on. On your own site it is off until you add data-capture="clicks,rage,fields" to the pixel script tag (use any one or two of the three if you want less); the options are listed under Clicks and form fields in the tracking docs.

  12. Tell the CSV import you are coming from Trakyo

On the CSV import's Upload step, a new "Coming from another tool?" choice lists Trakyo. Pick it and SIGNL says what to ask Trakyo for and what will not come across, then tags everyone the import creates so you can find them. Your column mapping is still suggested and checked in the preview before anything is written.

  13. Contract templates with locked sections

Contracts now has a Templates tab. Build an agreement once, split into sections, with default line items and the subject, message and link length you usually send. Lock a section to keep it word for word in every contract drafted from it, and every save keeps a version you can look back on. Draft a contract from a deal and choose a template or start blank; preview it with the lead's details filled in before you send, and when a template changes, update a draft to its new version without losing your edits. Agencies can write templates once under Contract templates and push them to clients, with sections the agency locks kept in step on every save. You can also duplicate a contract, revise one that was sent, or save any contract as a new template.

  14. Archiving a client detaches its agency contract templates

When you archive a client, its copies of your agency contract templates stop following the agency version. The client keeps every copy, fully editable, and saving an agency template no longer counts archived clients as clients that could not be updated. Archived clients also drop out of a template's list of linked clients. Restoring a client does not reconnect a copy; push the template again if you want it to follow.

  15. Keep the pipeline list open or folded, your choice

Picking a pipeline no longer folds the list away. Pin it open or fold it and it stays that way. The options button is always visible, so it works on a touch screen, Escape or a tap elsewhere closes the menu, and phones get a named pipeline selector instead of a narrow rail.

  16. Tasks sit at the bottom of your dashboard

A long task list no longer pushes your charts, upcoming calls and hot leads off the screen. Tasks now come last on the dashboard, so the other cards stay in view.

  17. Put a dashboard on a wall screen

Open any dashboard with the Wallboard button for a full screen, read only view with no menus or edit controls. It refreshes itself every minute while the tab is showing, pauses when the tab is hidden, and says when its numbers were last updated and when a refresh failed.

  18. Data tables of any size show every row, with totals and keyboard editing

The Data page no longer stops at the first 500 rows. A table of 50,000 rows opens straight away, loads more as you scroll, and search, filter and sort now run over the whole table, not just the rows on screen. Each column can show a total at the foot: count, empty, filled, percent empty, unique, sum, average, smallest, largest, checked, unchecked, earliest or latest, always for the rows that match your filter. You can move around with the arrow keys, press Enter or start typing to edit a cell, Tab to move on, Esc to cancel, and Backspace or Delete to clear. If an edit makes a row drop out of the current filter, it says so. A saved filter rule that cannot run is skipped and named instead of silently ignored. Calculated fields cannot be totalled yet, and kanban and gallery views still show the rows loaded so far with a Show more button.

  19. Docs rebuilt with a sidebar, search and a table of contents

The docs now read like a docs site: a left sidebar with every guide and reference page, a table of contents on each page, search with Cmd or Ctrl K, and a landing page that starts from what you want to do. Body text is larger, and any guide can be copied as Markdown.

  20. Choose whether a form shows your logo and its title

Form settings, Presentation now has Show logo and Show title. New forms open with the logo strip off and the title only inside the card, so a form no longer repeats itself. Forms you already published look exactly as before until you change them.

  21. A connector import that fails now says why

When an Airtable, Google Sheets, Typeform or Cal.com import stops partway, the import screen now says what went wrong in plain words, such as the tool refusing the key SIGNL holds for it, and what to do next. The same sentence stays on the source in the Imports list. Retrying a failed import by hand no longer counts towards pausing that source's scheduled sync.

  22. Open a lead from the list and see the whole profile

Clicking a lead in Leads now opens the full lead profile in a wider side panel: every tab, the AI read, custom fields, deals, tasks and messages, with the journey and the lead's details side by side. The lead page itself gets a clearer header with status, owner and first contact grouped in one card.

  23. First name and Last name on leads, in automations and exports

A lead can now carry a First name and a Last name beside the full name. Edit them on the lead's Identifiers tab, send them with first_name and last_name when you create or update a lead through the API or MCP, add First name and Last name columns to a CSV import, or let a booking page or form with separate first and last name questions fill them. Automations get {{visitor.first_name}} and {{visitor.last_name}} in the data picker, and the Leads exports gain the two columns. Nothing is guessed: a lead known only by a full name shows First name and Last name as not set until someone supplies them, a full name is never split, and an unset part renders empty rather than as a made-up word. Full name tokens such as {{visitor.identified_name}} and {{visitor.name}} work exactly as before.

  24. Onboarding shows whether your tracking pixel is really working

The last onboarding screen now ticks the tracking pixel only once it has reported in from your site, and links back to the snippet when it has not. The billing and plan messages during sign-up now match the plan you are on.

  25. One list of sources, everywhere

A lead's journey now names sources from the same list as Tracking > Source. A visit from Google search reads Google Search rather than Google. A visit from YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, Threads, Discord or a podcast app is named after the platform instead of a bare web address, and Kit now has its own name. Paid clicks keep a paid label. Three things move in your attribution numbers: visits from Outlook (outlook.office.com and outlook.office365.com) and Proton Mail webmail now count as Email; a source of googleads, adwords, facebookads, fbads, metaads, instagramads, igads or tiktokads now counts as that ad platform, with or without a medium; and setters and ai_assistant count as Setters and AI assistants. Pasted lists of links and content sources read the same list too, so the names match everywhere you see them.

  26. A form response with a different email is now its own lead

When someone submits a form or books from a browser that SIGNL already knows under another email, and the new email and phone match nobody, they now become a new lead instead of being filed under the first person. The same email still adds to the same lead. A taken-down form or booking link now shows a plain page not found screen to visitors, with no dashboard link.

  27. Animated previews in recording emails

The first time you use Copy for email on a recording, SIGNL makes a short animated preview of it: three seconds from where it starts playing, after any trim. From then on every email you copy it into shows that moving preview instead of a still picture, linked to the recording. Making it takes a few seconds the first time and happens once per recording. If a preview cannot be made, the still picture is used and the copy still works.

  28. Copy a recording for email

Copy for email, on a recording's page and beside each lead's link in Share, copies the recording's picture with a play line, its title and its length, all linked to the recording, so it pastes into Gmail, Outlook or Apple Mail as a clickable preview. The picture keeps loading in the email for as long as the link plays, and disappears if you revoke the link, it expires or it is protected. Where a browser cannot copy the preview, the plain link is copied instead and the message says so.

  29. Start an automation when a lead clicks a recording's button

A new automation trigger, Recording CTA clicked, runs when a lead clicks the call-to-action button on a recording you sent them. Narrow it to one recording or leave it open, and use the button's label and link in later steps. Outgoing webhooks announce it as recording.cta_clicked.

  30. Recording links unfurl as a playable video, and the player gets keyboard keys and picture in picture

A recording link pasted into Slack or X now unfurls as a video that plays where it was pasted, and each recording has an embed address for an iframe on your own site. Password-protected and expired links still unfurl as a plain title. The player takes J, K and L, M for mute and F for full screen, offers picture in picture where the browser does, and shows how much has loaded and the time under the pointer on the progress bar. In a recording's Settings you can let viewers download the video and set the speed it starts at.

  31. Anonymous viewers of a recording now show their city

On a recording's viewers list, someone who watched through the public link without being a lead now reads as, for example, "Anonymous Capybara from Leeds" rather than the animal alone, so you can tell whether a second view came from the same place or from someone the link was forwarded to. The city comes from the viewer's network, so it is approximate, and views from before today show the animal alone.

  32. Sales reach your ad platforms with the ad click that started them

When a lead clicks your Meta, Google or TikTok ad and later buys, SIGNL now sends that sale to the platform with the ad click it came from, so the platform can match it even when the buyer never typed their email on your site. Sales from Whop, PayPal, ThriveCart, Ablefy, Fanbasis and GoCardless are sent too, not only Stripe, and a send that fails is tried again. A new switch on the Meta and TikTok settings picks whether a sale is sent as the standard Purchase event or as SIGNL's own, so a sale your pixel already reports is not counted twice.

  33. Run setup again, or undo it, from Settings

Settings now has a Setup section showing where your AI setup stands and when it was built. Run it again to get suggestions for what is missing, or undo it at any time to remove the drafts it made that you have not changed or used. Agencies can read a client's setup plan from the client page.

  34. Read both revenue figures on Tracking without guessing which is which

The Attributed Revenue tile now says it counts tracked links only, and the Attribution Quality card shows its revenue total beside its customer count, noting that it counts any touch: link, email or UTM.

  35. Sources: organise every link by where it goes out

The Content tab on Tracking is now Source. Add your own sources with a logo, an icon or an image you upload, and keep content items under each one, each with its own links. The link builder copies your own URL with ?sg= on the end, or a short link, whichever you prefer to paste. Both attribute visits, opt-ins and revenue to the link; the clicks figure counts short-link clicks only for now, so it is labelled Short-link clicks. On Overview, Attribution by Source now counts new visitors and cash by first or last touch, and shows Direct and Untracked alongside your sources so nothing is left out.

  36. Tracking → Visitors: every visitor, anonymous or captured

The Tracking page has a new Visitors tab listing everyone seen on your site in the range, not just people who gave their details. Each row shows location, device, source, time on site, scroll depth, pages, sessions and when they were last seen, with a Live marker for anyone active in the last five minutes, and the furthest stage they reached: Lead created, Applied, Booked, Showed or Paid. Filter by anonymous or lead, by stage reached, by stage not reached (everyone who applied but has not booked, say), by source, campaign, device, country, score band, new or returning, and hide bounces; sort by last seen, first seen, score, time on site, pages or scroll depth; and save a filtered view to come back to. Open a visitor to see their signals, key numbers, attribution, location and device, and their Journey divided by visit, with a Became a lead line where they gave you an email or phone. Forms have a Counts as an application switch, so Applied only marks the forms you choose. From today onwards the lead journey groups activity by visit (older history has no visit ids, so it stays as a single list): a line above each visit shows where it started, how long it lasted and where it came from, and the same page seen on two visits is no longer folded into one row.

  37. Roleplay by voice

Training roleplays can now be spoken. On a session, switch Reply by to Voice and press Start voice: you talk, pause to hand over, and the prospect answers out loud in the voice chosen for that persona (eight voices, picked in the persona editor). Talk over the prospect and it stops to listen. Your words land in the same transcript as a typed roleplay, so the session is scored the same way and counts toward paths, goals and training vs live, and the review shows how long you practised by voice. Each session can also run on a fast model or a slower thinking model, chosen before your first line. Your microphone is used only while voice is on, and audio is never stored.

  38. Clearer webinar errors, and new data table records show straight away

Saving a webinar with no recording (or a live webinar with no join link) now tells you what to fix on the page instead of showing a generic error. In a data table, adding a record now shows it in the grid at once, and a second click while it is saving no longer adds a blank record.

  39. A weekly coaching review that suggests practice from your scored calls

Turn it on under Training, Suggestions. Every Monday it reads the last 14 days of scored calls and finds the criteria each rep keeps missing, for example budget confirmed missed on 4 of 9 calls. For each one it suggests practice, a roleplay against the scorecard's practice persona or scoring their next call, due in a week, with links to the calls behind it. Assign or reject each suggestion, or let it assign without asking. You choose how many misses count as a pattern, and managers get a notification on Monday saying what is waiting. It counts from the scores; it does not guess.

  40. SIGNL is in the Zapier app directory

You can now find SIGNL in the Zapier app directory and connect it without an invite. Start a Zap from a new lead, booking, payment, form submission or deal, and use actions to create or update leads, deals, tasks and calls. Connect with an API key made with the Zapier app preset on the Integrations page. The app is in beta for now.

  41. Admin filters render on the server

Fixed a server/client rendering error in the Admin Portal Audit, Credits and Spend filters. Their shared pill styles now come from a server-safe module, preserving the selected filter, links and contrast in both themes.
