Set up your workspace
A new account with no workspace goes through a short setup in four steps: workspace, client, pixel and done.
First you name your organisation and choose a plan, and SIGNL sends you to checkout for that plan. If checkout is unavailable, your workspace still exists and you carry on to the next step.
Next you add your first client, the business you run SIGNL for. SIGNL creates it with a starting pipeline and report templates. It also adds the sales starter automations, installed paused: they send nothing until you turn each one on.
The third step shows the snippet to paste into your site, with the client's ID already in it. You can skip it, because the install snippet is also on the client's Tracking page.
The last step invites teammates by email, each as a member, an admin or a viewer. An invitation expires after 7 days.
The onboarding checks
Each check is a query against your workspace's own data, never a box someone ticks by hand. The onboarding card on your workspace dashboard lists them, each linked to the page where you complete it. Once every check is done, the card shrinks to a single line.
Pixel installed and firing
This is done once the snippet on your site has sent at least one event in the past 7 days.
First form published
This is done once any form has a published version. A draft form does not count, because a draft never reaches the public link.
First booking taken
This is done once someone books a call through one of your booking pages, which you build on the Events page. A call added by hand does not count, and nor does a booking page nobody has used yet.
Calendar connected
This is done once the workspace has a Google Calendar connection in the connected state. To connect one, open a team member on the Team page and choose Connect Google Calendar.
First automation published
This is done once any automation has been published at least once. A published automation you later pause still counts.
Team member invited
This is done once someone other than the owner is a member who can reach this workspace, either across the whole organisation or pinned to this client. The check reads members, not invitations, so it is done when the person you invited accepts.
Call reminders switched on
This is done once an Event Flow, the reminder messages around a booked call, is switched on. A flow you have paused does not count, because a paused flow sends nothing. The check links to Event Flows, under Events.
Running an agency
If you run several clients, your first hour as an agency covers adding clients, Login As, branding and booking page templates.
